POWER TRAIN
Description:At approximately 9700 miles my truck has started malfuctioning and causing a safety risk. On takeoff the truck feels powerless until approximately 3 seconds after pressing the gas pedal. While crossing an intersection, I hit the gas which moved my truck forward very slowly in front of on-coming traffic but took approximately 3 seconds to start moving at the rate of speed a vehicle normally should. I could have been T-boned from this. The main issue I have noticed is while driving between 20 and 40 mph and giving enough gas to maintain speed, the truck starts jolting back and forth until I either let my foot off the gas or floor it. It also makes a clunking noise in the rear end while this happens. I called Ford and scheduled an appointment which was 4 weeks out and they just told me to \"Take it easy driving it, it will be fine.\" This is not a once in a while issue, this happens every single time I drive my truck and does not go away no matter how long I'm driving it for.
