BACK OVER PREVENTION: CAMERA SYSTEM
Description:A recall was issued for back up camera malfunctions on Ford models under NHTSA Campaign Number: 20V575000. My Escape has the exact same issue with the back up camera as described in the recall. The camera intermittently goes out and a message appears on the screen that the back up camera is not available or it goes blank. I have had the dealership look at the camera twice in the past three years and each time they tell me there is not an issue with the camera that it functions as expected.
