POWER TRAIN
Description:At times when starting out as soon as we depress the gas pedal the transmission jumps to park & we cannot shift out of park. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme nor reason to when it will happen. Nobody seems to find a reason for it so they can't fix it. We have found that if we unhook the battery & let it sit for a little bit it will work again. It has started happening more often in the last year. This is not only frustrating it can be dangerous according to where it happens. This is not a one time thing so I can't give dates or mileage. It has happened several times in the last week, but the first time was 2 years ago.
